Dr. Turk has presented master classes - teaching classes - for universities, conservatories, colleges, American Guild of Organists conventions and also local chapter events, churches, and general public. For more information on Master Classes, please visit the Master Class page.

Gordon Turk has been involved with improvisation for most of his musical life. A keen interest in this art led him to pursue study of improvisation and composition. He has won prizes in the field including the national improvisation competition sponsored by the American Guild of Organists. Concert Répertoire

Gordon Turk plays a wide range of organ literature, embracing many historical periods and styles (17th through 21st centuries), which makes for varied and exciting programs. He has a special interest in performing the music of Bach and German Romantic composers, and French composers of the 19th and 20th centuries.

He has also performed many organ concertos with orchestra from Baroque to contemporary composers, and also chamber works. Concert performances of concertos and symphonic literature include:
